Frequently asked questions

• Is it really free?
• Yes. Projects has no price: anyone or any organisation with an ArduMaker account can use it. You only pay for services that have a cost, such as a server, if you decide to buy them.
• Do I need a VPS to use it?
• No. Projects works with just your account. If you also have servers or domains in ArduMaker, you can link them to the project to keep everything together.
• Can my client see the project?
• Yes. You add them with the Client role and decide what they see in each section: nothing, view, contribute, edit or delete. Finances have their own permission.
• Does it sync with Google Calendar?
• Yes, both ways. Your Google events block your availability, and the project's tasks and meetings show up in your calendar.
• What can the AI do and what can it not?
• It can create and edit stages, tasks, checklists, comments and files, and schedule meetings. It cannot delete a project, change members or roles, touch secret content or enter the finances.
• Does the payment log charge on my behalf?
• No. It is a record: you write down the budget, payments in, payouts and expenses with their receipts, and each person sees their own. It does not move money.
• What happens if someone deletes something by mistake?
• It goes to the project's trash and can be restored for 30 days.
