Your students need a real server
Your students publish their projects on a real VPS, not a demo that shuts down. Discounted or free, depending on the school.
A complete server, not a trimmed account
The same product we sell, with every feature. There is no school edition with half the things switched off.
Real root over SSH
They install what they want and log into a console. It is their server, not a sandbox.
Deploys from GitHub
They connect the repo and it goes live with SSL, without fighting nginx.
Docker and containers
They bring up their stack from the panel, with ports and status in sight.
PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis
Databases with a table explorer included.
Domains and SSL
They point a domain and the certificate is issued and renewed on its own.
Panel and web terminal
Everything from the browser, phone included.
Based on the size of the school
There is no rigid table: the agreement is built with each institution. These are the brackets we usually work with.
Up to 50 students
Discount
A discount off the list price for their students, with the quota we agree on.
50 to 300 students
Higher discount
A bigger discount and a quota reserved for the school.
Over 300 students
Free plan
A no-cost plan for their students, like the one the 42 network already has.
In every case the student proves they belong to the school and the price shows up on its own when they log in. One student, one server.

The discounts a school can have
Each school builds its agreement by combining these types. This is what a student pays, month by month.
After
Free
Fixed discount
A percentage off every month, for as long as you're a student.
E.g.: 40% off, always
Time-limited discount
A percentage for a few months. Afterwards the server keeps running at list price: it never shuts down on its own.
E.g.: free for the first 2 months
Stepped discount
A different discount every few months. Months count from when your server starts using it, and the step change is charged day by day.
E.g.: 1st month free, you pay 80% in the 2nd and 90% in the 3rd
Flexible quota
Discounted places grow on their own: a new one opens for every so many servers of another school offer. If that quota drops, there's a 24 h grace period and then the oldest leaves first.
E.g.: 1 free place for every 2 servers at 20% off
Servers at 20%
Free places
Paid by the school
You pay nothing: the school covers the server from its account.
You
Your school
the rest
E.g.: the school pays €6 of a €10 plan and you pay nothing
Link promo
A link with its own limits: how many accounts, how many servers per account and until when it's valid. It can be used once per account.
E.g.: 20 accounts, 1 server each, until the end of the year
How limits are counted
Each limit (accounts, server quota, servers per account, uses of a link) can count only what's active —whatever is removed frees its place— or the all-time total —whatever was used once keeps counting—.
They can be combined: for example, a link promo with a stepped discount and a flexible quota.
