Markdown

What can you do with it?

  • Add items of up to 300 characters to a task.
  • Mark them as done, edit, reorder or delete them.
  • Reference project attachments from an item without duplicating the file.

When should you use it?

  • To split a task into verifiable steps.
  • So the task's progress reflects what was done without setting it by hand.

How does it work in ArduMaker?

With at least one item, the task's progress becomes done / total * 100 and is recalculated every time an item is added, checked or deleted. That change rolls up to the stage and project progress, and can move the card to another column if nobody pinned it.

What actually changes?

  • Each checked item leaves a line in the project history.
  • Deleting an item is reversible for 30 days from the trash.

Expected result

The task shows its checklist in order and a progress value that is no longer edited by hand.

Errors and troubleshooting

  • If you try to set the progress of a task that has a checklist, the API responds avance is managed automatically by the checklist for this task.
  • In batch operations each element is applied separately: one failing does not undo the others. Check resultados before retrying.

MCP access

  • Read: listar_checklist_items.
  • Write: agregar_checklist_item, editar_checklist_item and editar_checklist_en_lote (up to 100 elements).
  • eliminar_checklist_item is a reversible deletion.
