# Auto top-up

One rule per company: when the balance drops below a minimum, a fixed amount is charged to the payment method.

## What can you do with it?

Avoid running out of balance: when the balance drops below the chosen minimum, ArduMaker charges the set amount to the company's payment method. It is prevention, not collection: it acts even while the balance is still positive.

## When should you use it?

For companies with usage-based consumption (AI, WhatsApp, search) that do not want a balance drop to stop their services.

## How does it work in ArduMaker?

| Field | Rule |
| --- | --- |
| Minimum balance | Between €0 and €500. |
| Amount to charge | Between €10 and €1000, and higher than the minimum. |
| Active | Switch: when off, the rule exists but does not evaluate. |

- It charges every time the balance is below the minimum, with at least 10 minutes between attempts.
- At most 5 successful charges in a rolling 24 hours.
- It does not charge if the company has payments paused, is under fraud review, requires verification or is deactivated.

| State | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `armada` | Ready to charge when the balance drops. |
| `disparada` | The last charge succeeded. It does not block the next one. |
| `bloqueada` | A charge failed. It does not retry while the balance stays below the minimum. |

## What actually changes?

Each charge leaves a movement with the reason «Recarga automática por saldo mínimo», separate from debt charges. A failure blocks the rule and emails the people who receive billing notices.

## Expected result

The balance goes back up by itself. The rule shows its state, last attempt, last error and how many times it charged.

## Errors and troubleshooting

- **Rule blocked**: the payment method rejected the charge. It unblocks by itself when the balance goes back above the minimum; an admin can also edit it to reactivate it.
- **Amount not higher than the minimum**: the form rejects it.
- **403 when saving**: only company admins manage the rule.

> **PRECAUCION:** With an old debt larger than the amount, the rule may charge several times in a row until it crosses the minimum or reaches 5 charges in 24 hours.
