# Public profiles

A public page per person with their ArduMaker activity, integrations and blogs.

Source: https://ardumaker.com/en/docs/perfiles-publicos/

- Category: Community and extra services
- Status: Available
- Requirements: An ArduMaker account
- MCP tools: No MCP tools: it is used from the dashboard.

## What can you do with it?

Share a link with what a person does on the platform, without the viewer having to log in.

- Name, avatar and join date.
- Connected GitHub and 42 accounts.
- Activity on VPS, projects, tasks and calendar.
- Number of companies they take part in.
- Their published blogs.

## When should you use it?

To show a technical portfolio, or so a school or employer can see someone's real activity.

## How does it work in ArduMaker?

The profile is looked up by name: first the ArduMaker one, then 42 and then GitHub. That way the name the person already shares elsewhere works.

It is shown only if the person's profile is public. It is on by default and turned off from the account settings.

> **INFO:** The profile shows counts and aggregated activity, not project content or company data.

## What actually changes?

Viewing a profile changes nothing. Turning the public profile off hides it immediately.

## Expected result

A public page with the person's activity and links to their accounts and [blog](https://ardumaker.com/en/docs/blog-personal).

## Errors and troubleshooting

- **404 `usuario_no_encontrado`**: no ArduMaker, 42 or GitHub name matches.
- **403 `este_perfil_es_privado`**: the person exists but turned the public profile off.

## MCP access

There are no MCP tools for public profiles. See [/mcp/docs](https://ardumaker.com/en/mcp/docs).
