# Shared availability

Crosses several people's real availability to find a common slot, without showing what fills anyone's schedule.

## What can you do with it?

- Know whether several members are free at a specific time.
- See each person's free blocks that day and the common intersection.
- Offer third parties only the slots where everyone is free, from a project [booking link](https://ardumaker.com/en/docs/enlaces-para-agendar).

## When should you use it?

- Before calling a project meeting.
- For a client demo several people must attend.

## How does it work in ArduMaker?

A person's availability on a day is their working hours minus their events (own, from Google and meetings) and minus the tasks already placed that day. Each is computed in their time zone and with the calendars they chose for that project.

- The query is for a slot that starts and ends on the same local day.
- What fills someone's schedule is never shown: only whether they are free and their free blocks.
- When creating or editing a meeting it is checked again; if someone is not free, it is rejected unless forced.

## What actually changes?

Checking availability changes nothing. Forcing a meeting with someone busy flags that person with `disponibilidad_ignorada`.

## Expected result

Per person: whether they are available and their free blocks that day. For the group: the common blocks, useful to propose another time.

## Errors and troubleshooting

- The ids to query are project member ids, not user ids.
- A slot crossing local midnight is not accepted.
- If an event just created in Google is not reflected, the next [sync](https://ardumaker.com/en/docs/google-calendar) cycle may still be pending.

## MCP access

- `ver_disponibilidad` (read): free slots per person and common intersection.
- `crear_reunion` and `editar_reunion` (write): validate availability and accept `forzar`.
