# Service usage

Which services the company has, at what price, what it uses on demand and how to prepay months.

## What can you do with it?

- See the company's active services (VPS, mailboxes, bot accounts) with their price.
- See usage-based charges: Router IA, WhatsApp and Search API.
- Filter the movement history by dates.
- Pay a fixed-fee service for 6, 12 or 18 months with a discount.

## When should you use it?

To know how much the company spends and on what, or to lock a service's cost over a long period.

## How does it work in ArduMaker?

### Monthly fee

A fixed-fee service is charged monthly. If it starts mid-month, the prorated share by hours is charged, with a minimum of €1; if less than 24 hours remain in the month, the charge goes to the next month. When a service is removed, the unused part of the month goes back to the balance.

### Usage charges

Router IA, WhatsApp and Search API have no fixed fee: what is used is deducted from the balance as a `consumo` movement. They cannot be prepaid.

### Prepayment

- Blocks of 6, 12 or 18 months. Each plan sets the discount; by default it is 5%, 10% and 15%.
- It comes out of the balance and any shortfall is charged to the card. If the card declines, nothing is contracted.
- At the end it renews automatically, with an email notice 7 days before, unless renewal is turned off; then it goes back to monthly billing.
- Cancelling midway returns to the balance what was paid minus what was used, counted at the monthly price without discount.
- Price increases do not affect a paid block: they apply on renewal.

## What actually changes?

Each charge, usage, prepaid block or refund is recorded as a movement in the company history. Prepayment movements carry a reason starting with «Prepago».

## Errors and troubleshooting

| Prepayment error | Cause |
| --- | --- |
| `pago_rechazado` | The card declined the charge: nothing was contracted. |
| `empresa_en_mora` | There is pending debt: settle it first. |
| `prepago_no_admitido` | That service cannot be prepaid. |
| `prepago_vigente` | The service already has a current block. |
| `duracion_no_valida` | Only 6, 12 or 18 months. |

## MCP access

> **PRECAUCION:** `crear_prepago_servicio` charges immediately; it accepts `idempotency_key` to retry without paying twice.
